Terms of Purchase – Heydudp

These Terms of Purchase (“Terms”) govern your purchase of footwear products (including but not limited to work loafers, hiking boots, casual sneakers, formal heels, wide-width shoes, and custom orthopedic footwear) from Heydudp (the “Website”). By placing an order on the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms, as well as our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy (all available on the Website). Please read these Terms carefully before completing your purchase.

1. Order Acceptance & Formation

  • Order Submission: When you add footwear to your cart, enter shipping details, and submit payment, you submit a binding offer to purchase the selected items at the listed price. This offer is subject to our acceptance.

If your order is rejected, we’ll notify you via email within 2 business days and issue a full refund for any payments already processed (per Section 6 below).

2. Product Information & Pricing

  • Payment Issues: If your payment is declined, we’ll notify you via email and provide instructions to resolve the issue (e.g., updating your card expiration date, using an alternative payment method, contacting your bank to lift a hold on footwear purchases). You must resolve the payment issue within 48 hours of notification; otherwise, your order may be canceled, and you may need to re-submit the order if the product is still in stock.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Risk of loss or damage to the products passes to you upon delivery (i.e., when the carrier confirms the package is “Delivered” or left at your designated shipping address). 5. Returns

  • Return Eligibility: You may return any unused, unopened, or lightly used footwear for a refund or exchange within 60 days of the delivery date, provided the product(s) meet the following conditions:
  • Unopened/unused shoes: Must be in original packaging with all tags, shoe inserts, dust bags, and laces intact. The outsole (bottom of the shoe) must have no scuffs, dirt, or wear—this ensures the shoes are safe for resale.
  • Lightly used shoes: Eligible only if you tested them briefly (e.g., wore them indoors for 1-2 hours, took a short walk around the block) and they show no visible signs of use (no creases in the upper, no marks on the sole, no fraying on laces or straps). Shoes worn for extended periods (e.g., a full workday), on rough terrain (e.g., hiking trails), or with visible wear (e.g., scuffed toes) are not eligible for return—unless they have a manufacturing defect.
  • Exceptions: The following products are non-returnable unless they arrive defective or damaged:
  • Final sale items (clearly marked “Final Sale” on the product page, e.g., clearance sneakers, discontinued boots, or custom-engraved shoes).
  • Customized or made-to-order footwear (e.g., shoes with custom orthopedic inserts, tailored widths beyond standard “Wide” or “Narrow” options).
  • Shoe accessories (e.g., replacement laces, waterproofing sprays) that have been opened—for hygiene and safety reasons.

We do not refund shipping costs (though global free shipping means no shipping fees are charged to begin with).

7. Cancellations

  • Order Cancellations by You: You may cancel your order only if we have not yet shipped it (i.e., before you receive the Shipping Confirmation).   • We discover a material error in the product description or pricing after accepting the order.

If we cancel your order after shipping, we will arrange for the product to be returned to us at our expense and issue a full refund within 5-10 business days of receiving the returned product.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Product Warranty: All Heydudp footwear comes with a 30-day quality warranty from the date of delivery, covering defects in materials or workmanship (e.g., loose stitching, broken zippers, peeling soles, or uneven padding). This warranty does not cover:
  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., scuffed soles from walking, creases in leather, or worn-down insoles—this is expected with regular use, and we’ll share tips to minimize it).
  • Damage from improper use or storage (e.g., wearing canvas sneakers in deep mud, using harsh cleaners on suede, or storing boots in damp conditions that cause mold).
  • Fit issues due to incorrect size selection (unless the shoe was mislabeled—e.g., a “size 10” shoe that measures as a size 9).
  • Limitation of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, Heydudp shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your purchase or use of our products, including but not limited to:
  • Damages from missed events or disruptions (e.g., a delayed pair of wedding heels causing you to miss a fitting).
  • Damages from foot discomfort or injury (unless caused by a product defect or mislabeling—e.g., a boot with a sharp internal seam that causes blisters).
  • Damages from lost profits or business opportunities (e.g., a restaurant staff member missing shifts due to delayed delivery of work shoes).

Our total liability to you for any claim related to your order shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the product(s) in question. This limitation applies regardless of whether the claim is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
